Reporting to the Foreperson of Public Works this position supports the maintenance and repair of the Municipal Fleet. Duties will include: Performing scheduled servicing, preventive maintenance and repairs and maintenance of town owned vehicles and equipment both in the shop and in the field on a large variety of automotive, commercial trucks, large and small equipment items and emergency generators; Inspecting vehicles and equipment, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, or electrical malfunctions, and undertakes corrective action.
