Certified Dental Assistant

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Salary: $19.00 to $23.00 hourly

Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments. Take and develop dental x-rays. Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories. Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar. Perform dental receptionist duties as needed Requirements: Dental assisting certification or relevant experience. Proficiency in medical terminology and dental procedures. Knowledge of CAD software for digital impressions. Experience with Dentrix or other dental practice management software. Familiarity with orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Ability to take accurate dental x-rays. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
