Maintenance Worker

Salary: $27.30 hourly

We are looking for people who are team players. You will be working primarily at Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site in St.Andrews, MB but may be required to assist with activities at any of the sites within the Manitoba South Region (Lower Fort Garry, St.Andrews Rectory, The Forks and Riel House). Your day-to-day duties may include Landscape maintenance (grass cutting, weed removal, leaf blowing, tree and shrubbery maintenance, etc.), pathway and road maintenance (gravel top-up and regrading, snow removal, sanding, etc.), equipment and small engine repair and maintenance, basic/ routine building maintenance and repair (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.), vandalism and graffiti maintenance/ removal, and event setup and support. You will conduct code-compliant inspections for equipment, machines and tools. You will monitor the work of trades and contractors; you will provide access to facilities as required.
