A progressive family- owned business requires a poultry layer assistant manager in the Haldimand area, who is interested in leading a team of dedicated passionate individuals. We are looking for an applicant who can demonstrate the ability to guide and co-manage staff in a dynamic environment. The selected candidate will assist with the continuous improvement of procedures and operations. This position offers a competitive wage and benefit package.. Responsible for operations of the farm, including welfare of birds. Co-manage the bird shipments and bird placements activities. Arrange for barn cleanouts (washing and fogging). Prepare and maintain documentation of activities from farm to processor. Work closely with Manager to assist with hire, train and supervise staff. Establish employee work schedules.
