Journeyman/woman Ironworker

Salary: $42.00 hourly

Position Scope: Erect, install and modify structural steel and miscellaneous metal components on industrial projects. Key Duties & Responsibilities: · Read structural drawings and erection plans.. · Rig, hoist, position, connect and bolt structural members.. · Install platforms, stairs, handrail, supports and miscellaneous steel.. · Perform layout, fit-up and field modifications within assigned scope.. · Use fall protection and maintain dropped-object/exclusion-zone controls.. · Inspect rigging and coordinate signals/load control with lifting personnel. Required Qualifications & Experience: · Recognized Journeyperson Ironworker certification; Red Seal is an asset.. · Industrial structural-steel experience preferred.. · Strong rigging, bolting and working-at-heights experience.. · Ability to read structural drawings.. · Project-required site orientation and safety training. Preferred / Additional Assets: · Fall protection, aerial-work-platform and rigging training where required.. · CWB
