Landscape Labourer

Salary: $22.50 to $24.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work site environment: Outdoors. Noisy. All weather conditions Work setting: Landscape contractor. Various locations. Landscape maintenance Tasks: Weed, prune and trim trees and plants. Cut grass. Rake and collect refuse. Remove litter and garbage. Cart and spread topsoil and other materials. Lay sod or seed. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions. Plant and move trees. Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products. Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens Equipment and machinery experience: Small engine equipment. Skidsteer. Hand tools. Trimmer Area of specialization: Plant knowledge and identification Transportation/travel information: Travel expenses paid by employer Work conditions and physical capabilities
