Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work site environment: Hog and pig farming. Hog management. Odours. Livestock Work setting: Rural area. Laboratory Tasks: Boar semen collection. Diagnose livestock health issues. Direct farm feed inventory activities. Handling animals. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Treat livestock health issues. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs. Hire and train staff. Perform general farm duties.
