POSITION AVAILABLE: EXECUTIVE CHEF: SUMMARY: The Executive Chef is the heart and soul of the kitchen and customers satisfaction pertaining to food quality and hotel reputation. The Executive Chef is responsible for the overall success of the daily kitchen operations. Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions taking particular care in creativity, composition, seasoning and presentation of the dishes. Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Controls spending, costs, preparation of reports, hygiene and cleanliness, as well as compliance with policies and procedures established with the highest level of quality. Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced. Responsible for guiding and developing staff including direct reports.
