Outdoors Work setting: Construction Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Instruct apprentices. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Build and repair wooden frames used to mould concrete products Security and safety: Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding Personal suitability: Accurate. Team player.
