Licensed Practical Nurse (l.p.n.)

Salary: $28.00 to $30.40 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience: 1 to less than 7 months Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged Tasks: Administer medications. Ensure infection control. Observe and record medication’s therapeutic and side effects. Record medication’s therapeutic and side effects observations in patient files. Take vital signs. Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families. Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
