JOB DESCRIPTION Cavendish Farms is looking for a SEASONAL Forklift Operator to join the Farm Team for a period of around 3-4 weeks, 10-14 hours per day. Expected start date is Mid September. The exact start date and period of work will be dependent on weather and business needs. Work location: 1030 Greeno Rd, Chapman Settlement, NS.Bonus: a bonus of up to $2.5 per hour is available upon completion of the season. It is based on performance, attendance, and safety.RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate forklift. Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance. Use forklift to place pallets/boxes near running equipment in tight quarters. Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment. Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
