Position Summary: The Safety Officer is responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace across all company operations. This role ensures compliance with federal, provincial, and industry regulations while fostering a strong culture of safety. The Safety Officer works closely with management, drivers, and employees to reduce workplace incidents, investigate accidents, implement preventative measures, and ensure all safety programs are effectively maintained. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in transportation safety regulations, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
