Overview: We are seeking a Certified Dental Assistant to join our dental team. (New graduate or experienced). Two days a week Mondays & Tuesdays 9:00am-6:30pm.. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental office environment. Duties: Performs chair-side with dentist with pediatric, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. Perform oral health assessments and take digital x-rays.. Apply preventative measures, fluoride treatments and sealants.. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.. Document odontograms.. Works with post-op patients explaining instructions. Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures.
