Avia Bakery & Café is a growing Ottawa-based bakery specializing in fresh, clean-label and halal breads, baked goods, café meals and wholesale products. We serve individual customers, businesses, restaurants and grocery stores throughout Ottawa and Gatineau.. We are looking for an experienced, reliable and highly organized Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records and help management understand the financial performance of the business. Key Responsibilities: Record and categorize daily financial transactions. Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records. Prepare and send customer invoices. Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue accounts. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, Square/POS transactions and delivery-platform payments. Record wholesale, retail, catering and online sales accurately. Process payroll and maintain employee payroll records. Prepare HST information and assist with government remittances.
