Licensed Practical Nurse (l.p.n.)

Salary: $32.84 to $46.40 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience Experience: 1 to less than 7 months Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Nursing home/home for the aged Tasks: Administer medications. Conduct specimen collection. Ensure infection control. Observe and record medication’s therapeutic and side effects. Record medication’s therapeutic and side effects observations in patient files. Take vital signs. Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care. Monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy. Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families. Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
