Starliner Transport (1981) Ltd. is seeking a Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team. The perfect candidate will transport goods through British Columbia, Alberta, and Yukon as well as the Western United States. Qualifications: Valid class 1 drivers license. Have an acceptable drivers abstract. Experience with dry vans and reefer trailers. Have a valid passport (those travelling in the United States). Must submit a drug and alcohol test as part of a DOT requirement (those travelling in the United States) Responsibilities Include: Performing pre and post trip inspections. Maintaining a professional attitude. Accurate record keeping of logs and fuel stops. Communicating with dispatch. Performing emergency road side repairs Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual Pay: $25.00-$32.34 per hour Experience: Commercial Truck Driving: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: Class 1 (required) Work Location: On the road
