Job Summary: Mabel's Bakery is seeking a junior Pastry Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious pastries from scratch. Must be available to work at least one weekend day per week. Shifts may be daytime with an early start or afternoons into evenings. Full availability is required including weekends. The team either works Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Monday although we can accomodate alternative schedules that include full weekend availablity. Duties: Prepare doughs (including yeasted doughs), batters and fillings to meet daily production demand. Bake and assemble cakes, bars, cookies and yeasted products to company standards. Ensure all food preparation meets food safety standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to fulfill customer orders. Assist with inventory management of laminated dough products to ensure proper stock rotation, proper storage and enough available product to meet demand. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the
