Fisheries and Oceans Canada's (DFO), Ontario and Prairie Region, Aquatic Ecosystems Branch, Sea Lamprey Control Division is seeking enthusiastic people to join its team as Sea Lamprey Control Program Technicians (EG-03 and EG-04) dedicated to the delivery of its policy, program and regulatory responsibilities under the Fisheries Act and Great Lakes Fisheries Convention Act. Sea lamprey technicians are primarily involved with delivery of field services including assessment and treatment of sea lamprey populations in streams and lakes throughout the Great Lakes, capturing information supporting regulatory needs, and maintaining program related infrastructure.
