Location: Whistler, British Columbia

Salary: $39.00 hourly

Job Duties: Preparing Sushi and cooking other Japanese traditional food.. Plan menu and ensure food meets quality standards.. Estimate food requirements and estimate food and labour costs.. Instruct Cooks and Chefs in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food.. Lead the kitchen team and supervise Cooks and new Chefs. Cooperate with owner and manager on recruiting and hiring kitchen staff. Inspecting ingredients for quality and freshness and supervising all food preparation. Create new recipes, menus and specials.. Demonstrate new cooking techniques to new chefs and cooks.. Ensure excellent customer services at the Sushi bar.. Work as a team and ensure orders are completed in a timely manner Qualifications: Completion of secondary school and 3-5 years or more experience as a senior chef. Experience as a Head Chef an asset.
