The job of the Registered Early Childhood Educator at Maple Tree Non-Profit is to provide a quality, caring program to the people in our community that meet the needs of the children and their families. We strive to create an engaging and inclusive environment for our children while maintaining a high code of ethics and following all guidelines outlined in the Childcare and Early Years Act and licensing policies. This position reports to the Team Leader. Requirements: Registration and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educator's. Knowledge and understanding of How Does Learning Happen, Elect, and CCEYA. First Aid and CPR-C. Negative Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening. TB test. Immunization up to date. Proficient in English. Both written and oral Supervision and Safety: Knowledge of ratios. Collaborate with the team to adjust ratios as needed in case of staff or child absence.
