Languages: English or French Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience Experience: 5 years or more Work setting: Aviation/aerospace manufacturing Tasks: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Set up and adjust production machineries/tools. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Machinist Trade Certification. Tool and Die Maker Trade Certification Equipment and machinery experience: Automatic lathes. Cylindrical grinders. Honing machines. Lapping machine. Milling machines. Surface grinders. Tool grinders.
