Cook ? MARU Japanese Bistro (Full-time/Part-time): At MARU, we're a cozy Japanese bistro in the heart of Leslieville, serving dishes made from scratch. We're looking for a cook who is passionate about food, teamwork, and creating a welcoming dining experience. Responsibilities: Prepare and plate menu items with care and consistency. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow health & safety standards. Assist with prep and daily mise en place. Monitor food quality and temperatures, and communicate with the team. Work closely with chefs, servers, and bar staff to create a smooth service. Other duties as needed in a small, collaborative kitchen Qualifications: 1+ year of kitchen experience (restaurant experience preferred). Knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen equipment.
