Shift: Mondays - Thursdays: 3:00PM - 1:30AM: General Description: Reads and interprets plans created by the Master Electrician to install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment. This position is responsible to complete assigned day to day work of the electrical department; This position is responsible to ensure that all electrical work is within code, bylaw and other legislative requirements and is accountable for such. This position has line of sight to becoming a Master Electrician. Skill/Effort Requirements: Computer skills and the ability to use a variety of office equipment. Mechanically/technically inclined. Problem solving and organizational skills. Canadian Electrical code. Conscientious, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure of absolute deadlines Responsibilities: Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit. Pulls wiring through conduit.
