Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Fixed Assets and Maintenance, the Journeyperson Carpenter is responsible for maintaining and addressing the day-to-day carpentry needs of REAL grounds and facilities. This includes general building repair and maintenance using a variety of materials. The successful carpenter will possess the ability to think quickly and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. This position is physically strenuous and requires attention to detail. Education and Experience Two (2) years journey level experience and training in rough and finish carpentry. Journeyperson Carpenter certification. Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License and a clean drivers abstract. Knowledge of: Specific materials, power and hand tools; and methods used in the building, repair, and maintenance of assigned trade required.
