As the Facilities & Buildings Supervisor, you'll lead the administration, staffing, and hands-on maintenance of designated City-owned facilities and buildings. This role ensures safe, clean, and well-maintained public spaces while supporting reliable operations and the long-term sustainability of municipal assets. This position requires flexibility to be available evenings and weekends as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES-Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs for facilities, mechanical systems, building automation and security/alarm systems. -Supervise staffing and labour including recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluations and discipline. Lead a safety-focused culture adhering to OH&S regulations-Prepare budget information, monitor expenditures, manage equipment reserve funds and assist with capital/renewal project planning per City purchasing policies.-Support facilities crew leads on after-hours call-out rotation -Investigate and resolve public complaint
