This job description describes general terms and responsibilities that employees will be expected to undertake. Responsibilities: Prepare all meals in accordance with all health regulations, and ensure food is properly cooked. Responsible for removal of food and collection of plates and utensils at each scheduled meal. Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils and put dishes away for all scheduled meals. Compile weekly inventories of food in preparation for the upcoming week. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and storage area; take out garbage as required. Responsible for following the menu, provide food substitutions for children with sensitivities or. dietary restrictions. Responsible for posting the menus, and substitutes if made during the day.
