Hog Farm Supervisor

Odours Work setting: Rural area Tasks: Develop specific plans to prioritize. Diagnose livestock health issues. Handling animals. Marking livestock as proof of ownership. Monitoring animal health. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration. Treat livestock health issues. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Formulate feeding program. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production
