City of Chilliwack Utilities Environment Specialist (Full Time) Engineering Department Overview The City of Chilliwack Utilities Engineering team supports the City's water, sewer and wastewater treatment systems by planning and delivering capital investment projects, developing and implementing water and wastewater policies and, monitoring and reporting to federal and provincial regulators on a wide range of issues. In this position, you will be responsible for performing technical and administrative work relating to all aspects of municipal utilities including water resource management, drinking water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection, and wastewater treatment systems. You will be responsible for research, field monitoring and reporting on issues relating to groundwater sustainability and drinking water supply as well as implementing a growing water conservation program.
