Biofuels Production Manager

Tootsie Roll of Canada/Concord Confections, the manufacturer of Dubble Bubble gum and other fine candy products, has an opening for a *Production Manager, *in Concord Ontario. The Production Manager is responsible for the management of the site in order to meet production schedules, productivity, labour utilization, cost, material usage, quality, food safety, health and safety, environmental and other requirements and objectives. The Production Manager will coach and manage a team of production supervisors and others in the department, and collaborate cross-functionally. RESPONSIBILITIES, but are not limited to: · Planning, directing, & coordinating operations in compliance with company, customer, SQF, CFIA, FDA, Kosher, federal, provincial, local and other requirements.. Support SQF requirements by maintaining food safety plan and food quality. Report food safety concerns and problems to personnel with authority to initiate action and Food Defense issues to the Food Safety and Quality
