Purpose of positionTo provide support services for airport day-to-day operations ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered. Key responsibilities Maintain radio communication with flight crews and ground personnel. Receive and relay information between flight crews, ramp, sales, commissary and maintenance personnel. Plot gate assignments on Gate Management System and plan/coordinate aircraft towing in accordance with gating restrictions to ensure safe movement of aircraft, personnel and passengers. Monitor forecasts and routing changes, forecast all changes in arrival/departure times, notify appropriate personnel and update FIDS/FMIS screens accordingly. Investigate delays and code them in the appropriate Airport Operations systems. Assist in other related duties as instructed by shift manager/supervisor.
