Position Title: Junior Baker Reports To: Senior Baker Location: 1364 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB Position Summary The Junior Baker supports daily bakery production by preparing ingredients, assisting with bannock, fry bread, breads, pastries, and desserts, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. This role contributes to consistent product quality and efficient bakery operations while developing baking skills within Shelly's Indigenous Bistro. Core Responsibilities Measure, scale, and prepare baking ingredients. Assist with the preparation of bannock, fry bread, breads, pastries, and desserts. Follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines. Maintain clean and organized prep and baking stations. Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and FIFO rotation. Restock baking ingredients and supplies at assigned stations. Assist with inventory counts and stock organization as assigned. Support catering baking preparation and packaging.
