WCI Paving Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Asphalt Roller Operator to join our paving crew. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a 10-ton asphalt roller on commercial, municipal and residential paving projects.. Responsibilities. Safely operate a 10-ton roller during asphalt placement and compaction. Achieve proper compaction, grade and a smooth finished surface. Follow the rolling pattern and communicate closely with the paving foreman and crew. Monitor asphalt temperature and identify areas requiring additional compaction. Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain the roller in clean and good operating condition. Assist the paving crew with other duties when required. Follow all company health and safety policies and job-site procedures. Qualifications. Previous experience operating a 10-ton asphalt roller is required.
