Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work setting: Various locations Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Survey building locations and levels. Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling.
