Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team. This is a full time employment on a large cattle ranch in AB. A person with mechanical aptitude would be preferred. Competitive salary, housing, utilities, health benefit package. References required. Responsibilities: Livestock record-keeping, sorting, shipping, and processing. Moving cattle within the range. Winter feeding activities. Construction, maintenance, and repair of all types of fencing to acceptable standards. Safely and effectively use chainsaws and other tools for clearing and maintenance work. General yard maintenance as needed and instructed. Assist with fieldwork, farming and other ranch chores. General ranch duties.
