Utility Operator(Permanent Full-Time)POSITION OVERVIEW Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality is seeking a full-time, permanent Utility Operator to join our Utilities team. Reporting to the Utilities Foreman and Utilities Manager, the Utility Operator is a hands-on maintenance and operations position responsible for the maintenance, inspection, repair and operation of the Municipality's water, wastewater, and related utility infrastructure. The primary focus of this position is the preventative and corrective maintenance of municipal utility infrastructure and equipment. The successful candidate will inspect, troubleshoot, maintain and repair pumps, valves, piping, hydrants, meters, treatment equipment/instrumentation, and other utility infrastructure. The position also assists with water and sewer repairs, utility construction, excavation, heavy equipment operation and emergency response.As a certified utility operator, the position also performs routine operation and monitoring
