Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team here at Gearup Customs in Prince Rupert, BC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in automotive repair. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, has excellent customer service skills, and is capable of performing various tasks related to vehicle maintenance and repair. Duties: Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.. Assemble and disassemble vehicle components using hand tools and power tools.. Maintain and repair automotive systems including brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.. Weld components as needed to ensure vehicle integrity and safety.. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems.. Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and required services..
