Grocery Clerk

Salary: $15.70 to $16.29 hourly (to be negotiated)

Supermarket/grocery store Tasks: Bag, box or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery. Carry customer's purchases to parking lot and pack orders in customers' vehicles. Direct customers to location of articles sought. Unpack products received by store and count, weigh or sort items. Order stock. Stock shelves and display areas. Keep stock clean and in order. Price items using stamp or stickers according to price list. Perform general cleaning duties (i.e. sweeping, mopping floors). Process electronic transactions using computer equipment. Operate cash register. Provide customer service Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Attention to detail.
