The Street Worker's Advocacy Project is hiring a Casual Program Support Worker for our Raising Hope Program. The shifts for this positions may include evenings, overnights and various weekend shifts. The Raising Hope program is a program for pregnant or early post partum women who struggle with addiction issues. The program is delivered from a secure apartment building with a maximum capacity for 14 families. The program is staffed 24/7 with a minimum of 2 staff on each shift. The goals of the program include healthier pregnancies and births, keeping mothers and newborns together, reuniting parents with children in care, and increasing family wellness through programming for addictions, parenting, prenatal health, and skills for healthy living. The Program Support Workers provide supervision, mentoring and supports to program participants guided by the principles of trauma informed practice and harm reduction.
