The day to day: Execute daily food preparation and cooking tasks as directed by the Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or General Manager Cook and assemble dishes to exact recipe and presentation standards, ensuring quality and consistency throughout service Maintain a clean and organized station with a current prep list and proper stock of ingredients Follow portion control guidelines and plating specifications with precision Uphold freshness by practicing proper food rotation (FIFO) and labeling Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing deliveries to maintain food safety standards Support kitchen inventory control by properly using and storing products Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of prep areas, equipment, and tools according to health
