Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying finishing coats to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, ensuring smooth and professional results. This role requires a strong understanding of construction painting techniques, blueprint reading, and general carpentry skills. The Taper will work closely with project managers and other trades to deliver high-quality workmanship on various construction sites. Prior maintenance person experience and knowledge of caulking are highly valued to support seamless surface preparation and finishing. Duties: Apply joint compound or plaster to walls and ceilings using trowels, knives, or spray equipment. Sand and smooth surfaces to prepare for painting or finishing coats.
