Job Description Job Description Transport heavy, oversized, and high-value equipment safely using Quantum Equipment's tractors, specialized trailers, and project-support fleet. Responsibilities Operate assigned tractors and specialized trailers for heavy-haul, oversize-load, machinery, and industrial-equipment moves. Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, logbooks, and defect reports before and after dispatch. Work with the field crew to verify load placement, weight distribution, securement, dimensions, permits, and the planned route. Coordinate clearly with dispatch, pilot vehicles, crane and rigging crews, customers, and site personnel. Maneuver safely in yards, loading areas, active project sites, and other restricted-access locations. Protect the equipment and cargo, maintain required documents, and report changes or hazards before proceeding.
