Salary: $54,862.00 to $91,023.00 annually

FUNCTION & DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Residence Manager, the Student Life Animator is responsible for organizing and hosting activities, providing guidance, and ensuring the safety of the students living at the residence. IN GENERAL, THIS POSITION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES: Help the students with their evening homework;Organize activities for students and take part in the activities;See to the safety and well-being of students;All other tasks deemed relevant by his/her immediate superior. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in guidance counselling, animation, recreology or social work, and relevant experience. The Board may, at its discretion, waive any or all of the afore-mentioned qualifications if it finds a suitable candidate who is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (JBNQA) and who accepts, as a condition of employment, to follow a training plan determined by the Board.
