Hotel Maintenance Helper

Location: Marystown, Newfoundland and Labrador

Salary: $16.35 to $20.58 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: Experience an asset Work site environment: Air conditioned Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort Tasks: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Perform safety and security checks. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Provide information regarding features of rooms, service of hotel and points of interest. Handle luggage for hotel guests. Escort incoming guests to their rooms. Assist with installation of audiovisual equipment and help in resolving problems during use Security and safety: Criminal record check Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence
