Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work site environment: Outdoors. Hot. Sewers and water mains Tasks: Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation. Operate heavy equipment. Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements. Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Understand the purpose, proper usgage and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS). Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Prepare accident reports. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Supervise crew members.
