CORE FUNCTION: This position is responsible for obtaining philanthropic support from donors and prospects in the form of donations, grants and sponsorships, annual giving and planned giving that support the Museums initiatives and campaigns. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:1.Identifies, solicits, and stewards funding requests as assigned. 2. Identifies and cultivates relationships with potential and current donors, supporters and sponsors and ensures ongoing stewardship with existing partners. 3. Prepares proposals and funding requests; solicits and secures funding for programs, exhibitions, general operations and special projects. 4. Coordinates appeals, special events, and communications to maximize philanthropic support from the community.5. Develops and coordinates the planned giving program. 6.
