Greenhouse Labourer

Salary: $18.25 hourly

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 1 to less than 7 months Work site environment: Wet/damp. Hot. Non-smoking Tasks: Cut horticultural crops. Greenhouse cleaning. Mix and prepare soils. Plant bulbs and seeds. Pot and re-pot plants. Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings. Assist in grafting activities. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area Type of crops: Bell peppers. Cucumbers. Greenhouse tomatoes. Greenhouse vegetables Equipment and machinery experience: Forklift Transportation/travel information: Own transportation Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Attention to detail Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability: Reliability. Team player Other benefits: Free parking available
