Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Work site environment: Broiler and other meat-type chicken production. Chicken farming. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Odours. Outdoors. Livestock Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Conduct artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses. Diagnose livestock health issues. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records.
