Pharmacy Assistant

Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 hourly

About us: Opening Hours: 9:30AM - 5:30PM (MON - FRI, closed weekends and holidays). 8 hour shifts / 5 days per week (40 Hours per week). Free validated parking. No methadone. Duties: Prepare and package medications in blister packs and dispill packaging. Assist pharmacist in dispensing medications to patients. Maintain inventory of medications and supplies. Enter prescriptions in an efficient manner. Answer phone calls and assist with patient inquiries. Process insurance claims and handle billing procedures. Follow all safety and quality control protocols. Clean and maintain pharmacy equipment and work areas Skills: Minimum 3 year experience using *Fillware paperless software*. Minimum 3 year *Ontario pharmacy experience*. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Good communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
