Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Superintendent to oversee the maintenance of our seniors building. The ideal candidate will take initiative, take direction, work well with others. Solid background in maintenance, janitorial, repairs, painting. Experience an asset. Perfect job for someone near retirement. Responsibilities: Work site environment: All weather conditions. Work setting: Apartment complex. Tasks: Sweep, mop, and vacuum hallways, floors and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse. Empty trash cans and recyclables. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
