Residential. Various locations Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements. Clean and prepare surfaces. Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets. Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists. Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings. Install exterior and interior steel studs. Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation. Prepare wall and ceiling layouts. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods.
